The words sounded ominous but surely there were a lot of matters they needed to discuss with one another. Because while Tony may not be a full fledged member of the Avengers he must work along side them in some capacity or why else would the Director pair them with one another? If only the soulmate bond reacted more on his end of things but the trauma and recovery had a lot to do with it being muted at the moment. Later, it would awaken full force but for now he only felt faint stirrings, nothing at all Tony had to work with.

Stepping into the penthouse, Steve let out a low whistle. "Only seen places like this in books or on film. Never in person." With a shake of his head, he carefully moved further inside, heading to the kitchen. "Water would be perfect, thank you." He felt a little thirsty but wanted to be closer to Tony more than that. It surprised him somewhat, the strength of it. "Thanks for - getting me out of the facility and -" Breaking off for a moment, he looked at Tony. "You own all of this, don't you?"
