Tony swore quietly under his breath as Steve lost his footing and just hauled him back upright. "I know. We're almost there, I promise. Just a little more." He was practically carrying Steve by that point, but he could see the cave becoming clearer and clearer on his HUD. Harder to see with the naked eye, which was probably a good thing. He could worry about how to camouflage it entirely once they were inside the damn thing.

Even the vague attempts at conversation drifted off as Tony set his teeth and just focused on getting them there. It seemed like years, Steve slowly getting heavier and heavier against his side, before Tony's boots suddenly hit rock instead of snow. He let out a heavy breath and all but dragged Steve deeper inside, carefully lowering him to seated against one of the walls.

"Steve?" He reached up to pull the helmet off and tossed it uncaringly to the side. "We're here." He hesitated for just a second and then stripped out of the armor completely, dropping it all into a messy pile. A shiver worked it's way up his spine, but Tony just crouched down in front of Steve, looking concerned. "Hey. Cap?"
