Pushing more of the meat into his mouth with trembling fingertips, Rick remained silent as he normally did. He never really spoke much unless he absolutely needed to and even then his words remained clipped and to the point. Gone were the days of inspiring speeches or teasing in any way. The Saviors weren't ready for the former and he never felt the need for the latter unless he saw his people. So far, they kept him locked away in the compound but it would only be a matter of time.
