Even when standing still, Zelo held the distinct feeling of spinning, around and around without finding anywhere to really land onto. Nothing grounded him and he never felt any security because at any moment something would whisk him away to some place new to begin again. A constant sort of restarting and it exhausted him. Time never really offered him any kindness so he tried to make the most of what he had but never with someone else. Losing locations and friendships hurt enough but love? No, he never allowed it until Sage.
All his long lived life and he had never been in love before. Never experienced the anticipation and newness skipping along the beats of his heart, rattling along his gasping ribcage to spill all over the place. Everything, every inch of him slid into Sage's hands and he realized how much it opened up. A risk he never wanted to take before but now he did. Now, he wanted to risk everything for Sage's happiness. He wanted to be everything, honestly. An overwhelming need to be something worthy of someone wanting him to stay.
It meant more than he could ever actually express.
Letting out a low groan, he pressed even closer to Sage as if he could with being in his lap already. The words though had him tightening his grip, his breath all but leaving his lungs. Dragons never took promises lightly and they were binding in a similar way to their contracts for wishes. Did Sage know the weight of his words? Pulling back just enough to look into Sage's eyes, his heart began to beat faster. Oh. No one had ever looked at him in such a way and to think they weren't even supposed to be a thing.
With a new rising need, he pulled at Sage's shirt to get rid of it and press hands and kisses all over newly exposed skin. Another groan tumbled from his lips and he pressed closer again, his hips shifting forward without being able to stop it. "Always want you."
Another biting and searching kiss. "Always want to be with you."
nope you started it!!
