If he moved a little closer to Sam, well, it couldn't be helped and if commented on he'd just claim he wanted to make sure she had enough of the blanket to not be cold. Fighting back a yawn, he nodded his head. "We're making a difference even if it's slow going. Would'a been different if they managed more soldiers before-" He trailed off because they both knew what happened and how nothing could be done to change any of it. The serum was lost for good and they were the only two products of it.

On Steve's end, he never really considered going back home, only really thinking of how else he could help out with the serumed abilities. He had to make a difference as much as he could.
