fake married @ t'challa
Which was why they were in a restaurant in Munich - out for a date, ostensibly, before returning to their flat - and Martha was wearing a strappy black dress and heels she really didn't want to have to run in. "Oh, honey, do you think we should get dessert?" she asked, reaching out and touching the back of his hand. "Or would you rather have it back home?" The smile she gave him was ostensibly seductive, but didn't quite reach her eyes.
!!!!
Easier said than done.
Frowning down at his plate, T'Challa tried and failed to not look too put out by the cuisine. So different from what he tended to enjoy in Wakanda. Eyes flicking upwards to Martha's face, he put a light smile on his face instead. It didn't reach his eyes either. "I believe we should have dessert to go." He tried to play along with her innuendo, calling over the waiter to place the order and pick up the check.
He did, however, enjoy no one really gawking or whispering about him. No one knew of his kingly status here. They were just the 'Johnsons'. The ordinary name caused a little distaste as well but he kept it to himself.
"I will go and get the dessert if you would like to wait in the car for me."

"Go wait in the car," she muttered under her breath once she was well away from the table, shrugging into her coat. "God, it's like being with the Doctor all over again." She got the feeling that T'Challa dismissed her as useless, simply a prop to maintain his cover. Someone looking for the king of Wakanda probably wouldn't glance twice at a married couple. But just because she didn't carry a gun didn't mean that she was more than a liability than an asset. She'd been working for UNIT for more than half a decade now, after all, and she knew what she was doing, even if she wasn't as skilled as his usual bodyguards.

She had to have some skill set or they wouldn't have paired them together in the first place.
Once he paid and picked up the dessert, he made his way to their vehicle, feeling a certain distaste for it as well. The station wagon nearly made him want to recoil. It looked so frumpy but they were supposed to blend in and not make too much of a show.
He slipped inside and put the dessert in the backseat. "Anywhere you wish to go to before we go home?"

Though Martha wasn't especially choosy about cars, she found the station wagon just as awful as T'Challa did. She didn't see why a young couple with no children had to drive a station wagon - surely they could have had a nicer car without standing out - but it did help them blend in.
"No, I don't thi-" She froze for a moment, listening intently, and that was when something burst out of the back of the car and attacked them, something with claws and fangs and a hard shell.

Sliding into the station wagon, he barely had time to set down the dessert before the attack. With a grunt, he sprung into action, the alien fleeing the vehicle with angry chatter but he managed to go after it and hold it down. "Don't you have a weapon here?" So far, there weren't any civilians around but he knew that wouldn't last.
So much for a quiet evening.

"Do we need a weapon?" Martha peered down at the creature. Okay, so maybe she didn't use weapons, and maybe she'd failed to mention that fact to T'Challa. To be fair, she'd been told that the king was more than capable of defending himself. "If we disable it-" Of course, if they did that and rang UNIT to pick it up, it would likely end up just as dead. And maybe it had been meant to kill them, but Martha didn't think it deserved to die for that. Sometimes she really wished she'd kept in touch with the Doctor.
She scrubbed her face with a hand, turning away for a moment. "Don't you have anything?" Just because it might be necessary to kill it didn't mean she had to like the fact.

Wiggling the vial out of his pocket, he managed to pour some on the alien being, injecting it with his fangs soon after. It would leave him a little weak in the aftermath but wouldn't knock him out. When the being stopped moving, he moved away and let the shift disappear to regain his fully human appearance, nothing at all out of the ordinary.
"We can take this with us to analyze. It'll be knocked out for a few hours at least."
