[ The invasion brought with it a churning darkness no one managed to dispel even with their best efforts. But they all needed more information to be able to formulate lasting plans to win against the aggression. For Kara, she wanted to do everything she could to protect the world and the multi-universes she now knew existed. Sadly enough, the others knew the same thing and discovered a force called HYDRA with a wayward lost agent named the Winter Soldier. An ominous name given the deeds attached to him but Winn managed to uncover the agent's rogue status and a way for her to travel to his world to find him first.

The hitch? She might not make it back to their reality, in the very least, not very easily. But she couldn't sit back and let the forces use him across the universes to do evil along with others they wanted to capture.

Dropping down from the portal, her eyes darted around quickly to try and catch sight of one Bucky Barnes. He might be with him group but he should be alone and not with the Avengers. Slowly, she moved around, calling out for Bucky. ]

[Bucky, of course, had no idea that any of this was happening.

He knew about other worlds or realities if only because of Thor and Loki existing, but he could have no clue that people from another universe might be looking for him. He's only just moved into this small apartment in Argentina, he'll stay for a few weeks and then move on to keep from being found, and it's nice here. Sunny, peaceful, relaxing...

Until someone calls out his name. Bucky Barnes, not James, not the Soldier-- He swings around to try and find the source of the voice, hand already edging towards one of the many weapons hidden about his person.]

[ When Bucky came into view, Kara slowly dropped down, landing in view with a soft thud. But she made sure to not move too close or make any sudden moments, remembering what Winn uncovered in his hydra file as the winter soldier. How could one man accomplish so much horror? He didn't deserve to be punished for something out of his control and certainly didn't deserve to be used again. ]

Mister Barnes, I'm here to help you. There are people who have come through from the fabric tear in the universes and they're after you. Or rather after the winter soldier.

[ Moving a little closer, her cape wafted behind her in the wind, hair swirling around her face. She only hoped she didn't look too threatening. ] I'm only here to help. I can get you somewhere safe. These people are very, very dangerous.

[There's absolutely nothing in his expression that says that he trusts a word that she's saying or that he's about to go with her. At least he can see her now, he knows where a threat might come from if she moves.]

Nothing new, people are after the Soldier in this universe too. Why should I go with you? Or even believe what you're saying?

[He's dangerous himself, after all, and he knows how to keep himself safe and hidden.]

[ With the information acquired about Bucky, she knew he wouldn't come with her easily at all. The man did not trust others and mossy likely suffered from paranoia from the aftermath of his ordeal. But things would be so much worse if he tried to make it on his own. The invasion would find him and spread a greater terror throughout the universes.

Keeping her posture relaxed, she made sure to keep her hands in plain view. Accidentally triggering him to attack wouldn't help anyone, least of all for his guilt. ]

What do you know of the invasion and multi-universe warriors? These soldiers can hunt by heat signature. You'll never be able to hide from them for long and I know you don't want to be used against your will. I can help you.

That ain't exactly proof.

[He's not running from her yet, but that's only because he's sort of heard some murmurings of an invasion of things not quite human.]

You could be taking me off to try and use me yourself, I don't have any proof but your word, and the word of a stranger isn't worth much.

How else would I know about you and be able to track you if I didn't have important intel? [ More like Winn had been able to track him but they had the deo resources to thank for the chance to.

Keeping herself in plain view, she withdrew a cube from her pocket. ]

This is a replica of one of the things they are after and plan to have you steal. They have a way to make you do it or so I was briefed. I have a base which no one can track or get to you.

By the way, I'm sure I can do more than you.
