I have been away before, they did not stage a coup. I will not be gone long enough for them to do it now. [She says in a voice that says injury or not she has decided and unless Clarke takes her out herself, that's how it's going to be.]

[He had underestimated her on sight, not a mistake he was likely to make so plainly anymore but nonetheless Lexa was sure he wouldn't even think they had a way of beginning to understand his plans. They had to work it out, and so, they would. Even if it cost her life.]
