I hope you didn't leave a shoe behind. [ He jokes before closing the door behind her. Calling her 'princess' earlier seemed all the more fitting now she's mentioned Cinderella. After moving around the car to the driver's side and climbing in, he senses she's thinking of every bad scenario in a movie similar to the situation she's got herself in and oddly, he wants to put her mind at ease. ]

I mean, accepting a ride from a complete stranger probably isn't the smartest thing to do. [ He wouldn't recommend she ever do this again. ] But you're not in any danger, I promise. I just want wanna make sure you get home okay.

[ Not quite the jerk he makes himself out to be. Then: ] Okay, princess?

Not a shoe but maybe a tube of lip gloss. [ She offered back as she tried to at least appear less tense about the entire situation. Being good looking didn't automatically exempt someone from being crazy, after all. What if he lured pretty young things into his mop soaked web? If he did, he sure picked wrong with her considering all the medical knowledge she had. All meant to heal, of course, but it could shift another way with some tweaks.

His words were sweet, surprisingly enough. ]

Let's see what kind of music taste you have and then I'll really know what I'm dealing with. [ Her way of agreeing to what he said. ]

I don't plan on ever doing this again. [ The established bus schedule would never fail her after this. ]
